After use, wipe the blade clean and dry. For storage, apply a thin coat of blade wax or camellia oil to the flat of the blade. Renaissance Wax and purpose made blade wax both work well. Thirty seconds of maintenance keeps 1095 performing for years. In humid conditions without care, surface rust will develop.
