In purple it stays deep rather than going bright, and the satin bronze running alongside it is the warm half of the pairing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBronze and purple is not a safe combination. It works here because the WW2 micarta is already warm and aged, so the bronze reads as a continuation of the overlay rather than a second accent fighting it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAcid Wash, Satin Flats\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe blade is acid washed and then the flats are taken back to satin. Acid wash eats at the surface and leaves a mottled, uneven finish that is different on every blade.
