G2 cartridges are at every drugstore for a couple of dollars, so you are never hunting a proprietary refill or paying a premium for one.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAnodized, Then Sanded Back\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnodizing titanium is not paint. The color comes from an oxide layer grown on the surface, and the thickness of that layer decides the color you get.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHand sanding after the fact cuts the layer back wherever the sandpaper touches, so the high points go bright and bare while the recesses keep the blue. On a Grid body the milled pattern does the work, and because a person does the sanding, no two come out matching.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eTitanium\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eLight, and it will not corrode or patina.
