I love the Mojave, this is my second. Personally love the blade shape. Light, thin and disappears in my pockets. Both of my copies have had excellent action right out of the box. It has a quick and snappy open with a very smooth closure. My only complaint is that I would prefer finer more grippy jimping on the blade and flipper tab. Overall a wonderful knife, so much so I am thinking about a third, maybe in full DLC...

I will say, with my limited experience with OTF's, I've only ever owned 3 different brands, this is, by far, my favorite. Everything about it. From the contours on the handle to the single edge blade, as opposed to a spear point, to the amazing deployment thwack, this exceeded all of my expectations. I thought Microtech set the bar for OTF's and maybe they did but Core Edge edges out in front of them, in my opinion. The color is beautiful and the blade is ridiculously sharp. And Magnacut on the blade? What?! What more can one ask for? With the knife review being done let's switch to the Lone Star review. Chris is AMAZING to do business with. The process couldn't have been easier and bc I sent him some knives to list in The Backdoor my order was paid for. There's something special about someone who takes pride and lists specifically American made products. To rate my experience would be a 10/5. I love the Core Edge Pulsar and I love Lone Star. Now with the rewards program?! Fuggitaboutit!

The Martyr is a great knife from Heretic. The glass-blasted polymer handle really brings the weight down of this knife. Giving it the look of a big knife without the weight. As always a great shopping experience with Chris and Lone Star Knife and Supply.

I avoided slipjoints for years and exclusively used locking knives. Recently I decided to try a few again and have found I like the simplicity and classic look. This ABW slipjoint is definitely the best of the bunch. It has become my favorite 5th pocket/secondary cary/just wanting something small around the house knife. The size is enough to do any light duty task and the weight is just enough to feel solid. I love the 45 degree milling lines on the scales. Simple, classy, and effective sums up this knife quite well.

Reviewing cordage is kinda funny. I bought it and an ultem bead for a pry I picked up here. Just wanted to give the shop a little love, and to my surprise they tied the bead and cordage to the pry. Good folks! Good products.

Perfect weight and size. The topo pattern gives a nice grip. Blade design is super sick.
I love the look of the stepped milling pattern on the blade. Great action! It doesn't feel "mushy" on deployment like some button plunge locks. Its a great knife!

I love the native 5 and 15v. 15v is very easy to sharpen and gets really sharp. The down side is the burnt edges and I had other 15v from Spyderco chipped so you'll need to sharpen it again to make sure the burnt edge is gone. As for Lonestar they are awesome with fast shipping and always including something unexpected in the order.

Knife is amazing. Can't believe the quality of this knife vs the price. Not to mention its USA made with a great leather sheath and an ulti clip to go with it. Perfect pocket fixed blade or just an everyday carry if you want on the belt. Great contours and texture on the handle and so far the knife has held up exceptionally. Love the more forward jimping and the elongated slot for the lanyard hole. I really recommend this knife.
