MachineWise is a modern American knife and tool maker based in Phoenix, Arizona, founded in 2021 by machinist and designer Deylan Crawford. What started as a garage project grew quickly as Crawford applied his machining background to knives, beginning with balisongs and expanding into folders and EDC tools. Today MachineWise operates out of a dedicated studio where every step of production is done in-house, including machining, finishing, assembly, and quality control. The company offers a lifetime warranty on its products and builds each knife with real-world use in mind.

Their lineup includes models like the Sonora and Mojave folders, along with high performance balisongs that helped establish the brand’s following.
