Designed in Denmark. Built in Texas. Meant to last.
The Tactile Turn Anso Pen is a collaboration between Jens Anso and Tactile Turn out of Dallas, Texas. What started as a bold design concept, a slim hexagonal body with a knurled grip, became a precision-machined reality through advanced manufacturing.
This brass version brings a completely different feel to the platform.

A Different Kind of Machining
The hexagonal body isn’t just for looks.
It required polygonal turning, a process most manufacturers avoid due to its complexity. Tactile Turn leaned into it, resulting in a pen that feels distinct in hand and stands apart from traditional round designs.
Brass Changes Everything
Switching to brass transforms the experience.
The added weight gives the pen a more grounded, substantial feel in hand, while still maintaining the slim profile of the Anso design.
Over time, the brass will develop a natural patina, making each pen unique to how it’s carried and used.
Side Click, Refined
The side click mechanism is a slimmer version of Tactile Turn’s standard design.
Positioned opposite the clip, it keeps the profile clean while delivering smooth, reliable deployment.
Simple, functional, and well executed.
Built to Last
This is a pen you keep.
The solid brass construction is designed for long-term use, and Tactile Turn backs it with a lifetime warranty.
It’s not something you replace. It’s something you carry for years.
Made in Texas
Every Tactile Turn pen is machined in Dallas, Texas.
From raw material to finished product, this is American manufacturing done with precision and consistency.
A Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply
I picked one of these up myself at Blade Show Texas.
The weight of the brass and the way it feels in hand really stands out. It’s one of those pens you notice immediately, and it just makes you want to keep using it.
Why This One Stands Out
The Anso Pen is already a unique design.
In brass, it becomes something else entirely.
More weight, more presence, and a finish that changes over time. It’s a pen that feels personal the longer you carry it.
