Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply
I’m Chris, and I always recommend Kershaw when someone wants a great knife at a fair price. Whether it's your first quality blade or just something dependable for daily carry, Kershaw consistently delivers solid value—and with recent U.S.-made drops like the Bel Air, they're only getting better.
History
Founded in 1974 by Pete Kershaw, the company started with a simple idea: make knives that users could count on, day in and day out. Now owned by Kai USA Ltd., Kershaw operates out of Tualatin, Oregon, where it continues to manufacture many of its best models right here in the USA.
Kershaw was an early innovator in assisted opening technology and continues to push boundaries in affordable knife design. They’re known for collaborating with top designers, producing everything from tactical autos to sleek gentleman’s folders and even kitchen knives—all with a focus on real-world utility.
