History

Founded in 1994 by Tony Marfione, Microtech set out with a clear goal: to make the best knives possible with no compromises. What started in a small apartment has grown into one of the most respected American knife manufacturers in the world. From early collaborations with tactical legends to pioneering modern out-the-front technology, Microtech has always been a step ahead—both in design and execution.

Every knife is proudly made in the USA, with the majority of parts and processes handled in-house. This level of control is how they maintain their famously tight tolerances and rock-solid reputation.
