History
Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal Glesser and made its name in 1981 with the C01 Worker—the first folding knife to feature the now-famous round hole, clip carry, and full serrations. From that moment forward, Spyderco became synonymous with innovation. Today, the family-owned company is still headquartered in Golden, Colorado, and continues to lead the industry in design and materials.

What They’re Known For
  • The Round Hole: Allows for smooth, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.
  • Compression Lock: Found in the Para 3, PM2, and Shaman, this lock is a user favorite for good reason.
  • Steel Variety: Spyderco pushes boundaries with steels like Cruwear, SPY27, MagnaCut, and more.
  • Global Manufacturing, High Standards: Made in the USA, Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China—with consistently tight tolerances.
  • Ergonomics and Utility: Designed for comfort in hand and performance in use, not just for looks.

Whether you're a collector chasing sprint runs or just want a reliable knife that feels great in hand and cuts like it should, Spyderco delivers. It’s not hype—it’s hard-earned respect.
