Spyderco

Tagline: Reliable High Performance™

Overview:
Spyderco is a pioneer in the knife world, known for innovation in opening mechanisms, lock designs, and steel experimentation. From the trail to the workbench, their knives are built for real-world function—with thoughtful ergonomics and proven performance.

History:
Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal Glesser and made its name in 1981 with the C01 Worker—the first folding knife to feature the now-famous round hole, clip carry, and full serrations. From that moment forward, Spyderco became synonymous with innovation. Today, the family-owned company is still headquartered in Golden, Colorado, and continues to lead the industry in design and materials.
