Brandon Williams made these for us. The Mini Reaper is one of his most distinctive designs, and the swept tip and 3.75" blade give it a presence that backs up its field performance. It is convex ground with a secondary bevel, so you get the slicing his convex grinds are known for while the secondary bevel adds durability right at the edge for harder use.

1095 high carbon with Brandon's in house heat treatment, full tang throughout. Each knife ships with a Kydex sheath set up for scout carry.

Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: These are one offs. Brandon builds each knife individually, so the one you choose is the only one of it we will ever have.

Convex With a Secondary Bevel

A pure convex grind curves from spine to edge with no flat bevel, which cuts with very little resistance but leaves the apex thin. Adding a small secondary bevel puts more steel right at the edge, so it takes abuse that would roll a pure convex.

On a knife built to be used rather than displayed that is the right trade, and it is why this grind shows up on the Reaper and not on everything Brandon makes.

Scout Carry

The sheath is set up for scout carry, horizontal across the small of the back or at the front of the belt rather than vertical on the hip. It keeps a 7.5" knife out of the way when you sit down.

A Note on 1095 High Carbon Steel

1095 is a carbon steel, not stainless. After use, wipe the blade clean and dry. For storage, apply a thin coat of blade wax or camellia oil to the flat of the blade. Renaissance Wax and purpose made blade wax both work well. Thirty seconds of maintenance keeps 1095 performing for years. In humid conditions without care, surface rust will develop. The steel is worth the habit.
