Alaskan handmade, named for a hunting island.
The ADAK is a compact handmade fixed blade from 907 Knives, built by Will Lower in his shop in Alaska. It is named after Adak, the island Will likes to hunt. This one has a Micarta handle over an AEB-L blade right around 2.3 inches, with a lanyard hole and a Kydex sheath. Will is a veteran who started 907 Knives in a garage with a grinder and a lot of grit, and he makes each of these by hand.
Pronounced (A-Dax)
Note from Lone Star Knife and Supply: This is exactly the kind of maker we love to carry, a veteran building knives by hand in his own shop. The ADAK is a small AEB-L fixed blade, easy to carry and easy to keep sharp, and it comes with a Kydex sheath and a lanyard hole. The sheath is set up to take a clip if you want to add one.
