The Wharncliffe
A wharncliffe runs straight from the handle to the tip along the edge, with the spine dropping down to meet it. No belly, no curve. That means every part of the edge sits flat against whatever you are cutting, which is why it is the shape for working on a board, opening boxes, or cutting against a surface. A 4 inch wharncliffe in carbon steel is a lot of straight edge to work with.
1095 Is a Choice, Not a Compromise
1095 is a simple high carbon steel and that is the whole appeal. It takes a keener edge than most stainless will, and it comes back on a stone in a couple of minutes rather than a session. What it asks in return is that you keep it dry and wiped with a little oil, because it will rust if you neglect it and it will take on a patina whether you like it or not.
Epoxy and G10
Green epoxy poured against multicolored G10. Every pour comes out different, so no two Farmer Made handles match and this one belongs to serial 002 alone.
A New Maker for Us

Carry
Kydex sheath with an Ulticlip, so it mounts to a belt, a waistband, or a pocket seam without needing a loop.
