TRD titanium chip with a copper slug hydraulically pressed into the center, Delta engraved on both sides.
HiTEX brought the Bi-Metal Delta back from the early days of the brand. The body is titanium in TRD with a milled edge, and a copper slug is pressed into the middle of each side with the classic Delta laser engraved into it.

The One That Matches the Pens
TRD is the same finish Mike runs on the Ti2 Design TechLiner pens. If you already carry a TRD pen, this is the chip that goes with it, and that is not a coincidence since the same shop does both.
Against the copper slug it reads darker and flatter than the anodized colors in this run, so the Delta does more of the work.
What a Chip Actually Is
A casino style chip machined out of metal, meant to live in a pocket and get handled. Flipped, spun, rolled across knuckles, set on a desk and picked up again. There is no function to it beyond that and nobody who owns one is confused about that.
What makes a good one is weight, edge geometry, and how the surfaces feel after a few thousand handlings. A chip with the wrong mass or a sharp edge gets put in a drawer. This is a category where the machining is the entire product.
They Stack
HiTEX builds these to stack the way casino chips do, so a collection sits in a column on a desk rather than scattered in a tray. Most people who buy one end up buying more, and the stacking is a large part of why.
Bi-Metal Means Two Metals
Titanium body, copper center. They are not plated or coated. The copper slug is hydraulically pressed into the titanium, so it is held by the fit rather than by adhesive.
The two age differently. Titanium stays where it is while copper patinas with handling, so the center darkens and warms while the body does not.
The Delta
The Delta is one of HiTEX's original designs and this run brings it back. Nested triangles laser engraved into the copper on both sides, so the chip reads the same whichever way it lands.
Milled Edge
The perimeter is cut into segments rather than left round. That is what gives your fingers something to index against when you are spinning or flipping it, and it is the difference between a chip that stays in a pocket and one that does not.
