The Power of Micromilling! Green and bronze titanium.
The Dixon Base is the starting point of the Dixon lineup, built on the same hollow-ground MagnaCut platform as every other Dixon without the additional milling patterns. Micro milling lines run across the titanium handle for subtle grip enhancement, and the green and bronze anodization gives this version a standout two-tone color that carries the base configuration with serious visual presence. All-satin throughout: blade, hardware, and hardware finish all matching.
Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The Dixon is one of the most impressive American-made folders at this price point. The in-house hollow grind is the detail that makes it stand out. It carries like a big knife and cuts like a blade twice its size. If you want a serious USA-made folder with genuine custom shop DNA, the Dixon is the one to start with.
The Base model Dixon features micro milling lines across the titanium rather than the deeper Dragonscale, Frag, or Diamond patterns. The result is a cleaner, slightly more streamlined surface that still provides grip while letting the green and bronze anodization take center stage. If you want the Dixon platform and the color, without the additional pattern depth, this is that configuration.

Built Thick, Ground Thin
The Dixon platform is built on robust blade stock, but the in-house hollow grind is what transforms it. McNees grinds every Dixon blade in-house in Alabama, heat treated to 63-64 HRC. The result is a knife that slices far past what the blade thickness suggests. CPM MagnaCut brings the edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness to back up that geometry over the long term.
The titanium frame lock provides confident lockup with smooth, controlled manual action. Made in the USA, start to finish.
About McNees Knives
