The Little Dixon is the 3.25 inch version of McNees' Dixon, and it is the one that sits closest to the size of the original custom design. This is the Rock milling in Green and Blue Atomic, with a MagnaCut blade on a titanium frame lock.

The Little Dixon
McNees scaled the Dixon down and in doing so landed almost exactly on the size of the custom that started the line. It keeps everything the 3.75 inch version has, including the High Performance Hollow Grind, in a package that carries where the bigger one starts to feel like a lot of knife.
The Hollow Grind
The High Performance Hollow Grind is the reason people talk about these. A hollow grind thins the blade out behind the edge more aggressively than a flat grind does, so it slices well above what a 3.25 inch blade should. McNees grinds every one in house rather than farming it out.
Rock Milling and Atomic Finish
Rock is the milling pattern, cut into both the show side and the lock side, so the knife looks finished from either direction rather than plain on the back. Atomic is McNees' own finish, applied in house, and this one runs green into blue. Because anodizing is a chemical process rather than a print, no two come out identical.
MagnaCut
MagnaCut gives you edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance without trading any of the three, and McNees runs it at 63 to 64 HRC, which is on the hard end. That means a long stretch between sharpenings on a blade already ground thin.
