Nine Inches at Three and a Third Ounces

That is the number worth sitting with. A 9 inch full tang fixed blade with a 4 inch cutting edge that weighs 3.3 ounces is lighter than most folders people carry, and lighter than it has any business being. It means you can put a real fixed blade on your belt and forget it is there, which is the whole reason a knife like this gets carried instead of admired.

The Modified Clip Point

A clip point takes material off the spine near the tip, which drops the point lower and puts it more in line with your hand. That gives you control for detail work and a tip that goes where you aim it. Modified means the clip is shallower than a traditional one, so you keep more steel behind the point than a full clip would leave you. On a 4 inch blade that is the balance between a tip fine enough to be useful and one strong enough to survive being used.

S90V

S90V is a high vanadium stainless built around wear resistance. It holds an edge a long time and it resists rust well, and in exchange it asks for more patience at the sharpening stone than a softer steel would. On a knife meant to be used rather than touched up constantly, that is the tradeoff you want. Diamond stones are the easy answer when it does come time.

The stonewash finish does the same job it does on any working blade. It hides handling marks rather than showing every one of them.

Full Tang and G10

Full tang means the steel runs the whole length of the handle in one piece, so there is no joint to fail under load. Black G10 over it gives you traction that holds up wet, cold, or gloved, and it ignores weather entirely.

Carry

The Kydex sheath has a Tek-Lok on it, so you set the ride height and the cant yourself. It carries strong side, cross draw, or scout depending on how you mount it, and it works either handed.
