The Ultratech Gen IV. Tanto Edge (T/E). Deep Ocean handle. Asheville built.
The Microtech Ultratech is the benchmark OTF automatic. The Gen IV is the most refined version of a platform that has been in continuous production since 1999. This version runs the Tanto Edge (T/E) profile with a Tactical Black finish on M390MK blade steel, paired with a Deep Ocean 6061-T6 aluminum handle. The Crud Kutter milled switch platform breaks up debris and reduces friction for more reliable deployment. The Dual-Fuel Drive Train produces the smoothest Ultratech action Microtech has ever shipped. Milled titanium pocket clip with ceramic balls, stainless glass breaker, stainless Torx hardware. Made in Asheville, North Carolina.
Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The T/E Ultratech in Deep Ocean is the more subdued tactical version of the platform. The tanto profile has a reinforced tip and strong geometry for piercing cuts, and Deep Ocean is a color that carries quietly in outdoor and tactical environments. Gen IV action, milled titanium clip, stainless glass breaker. Asheville made.
