USA 250 UTX-85, tanto edge apocalyptic.
The UTX-85 is Microtech's compact out the front auto, built at 85 percent the size of the Ultratech. This is the tanto version, Gen IV, with an apocalyptic finished M390MK blade and a commemorative 4th of July USA 250 handle. The dual action slide fires the blade out and pulls it back in.
Note from Lone Star Knife and Supply: We carry this edition in both edges. The single edge is the drop point for everyday cutting. This is the tanto, which puts a second edge at the front at an angle to the main one and leaves a lot of steel behind the point. If you want the tip that takes abuse, this is the one.

The Tanto
The tanto puts a second shorter edge at the front at an angle to the primary one, so the point is backed by more steel than a drop point leaves. On a 3 inch blade that is how you get a tip that takes work instead of bending.
You give up some of the belly that makes a drop point slice well. That is the trade, and it is a deliberate one.
Automatic Knife Laws
Automatic knives are restricted in some places, so check your state and local law before you order.
