Black, Bronze, and Forest Green
This is the earth toned build. The frame runs black into bronze, the overlays are Forest Green G10, and the backspacer, hardware, and switch are all bronze. Green and bronze is a harder combination to get right than it sounds, because both are warm and they can flatten each other out. Keeping the frame dark is what gives them somewhere to sit.
Where serial 25 in this pair is cold and bright, this one is the opposite. They came off the same bench and have nothing in common to look at.
G10 Overlays
G10 is fiberglass laminate, and it is here because it does not care. It will not absorb moisture, it will not move with temperature, and it grips better when your hands are wet than when they are dry. On a knife this expensive, choosing G10 over a showier material is a decision about carrying it rather than displaying it.
The Hawk Lock
The Hawk Lock is Grant and Gavin Hawk's mechanism, and it is one of the few genuinely different lock designs in production. It is ambidextrous, it keeps your fingers out of the blade path, and it has a distinct feel that people either chase or do not understand until they handle one.
This one is set up with thumb studs and a flipper delete, so the lines of the frame stay uninterrupted.
Skiff Made Bearings
The bearing upgrade comes from Skiff Made, and it is the detail that separates a good action from one people talk about. Standard bearings work. These make the knife feel like it is running on nothing at all.
S45VN and the Harpoon Tanto
S45VN is the updated S35VN, with more chromium for corrosion resistance and a finer grain that holds an edge longer. The harpoon tanto combines a reinforced tip with the notch along the spine, which gives you a thumb ramp and a profile nobody confuses for anything else.
Why This One Stands Out
One of one. Serialized, Hawk Lock, Skiff bearings, and the only Ragnahawk here you could carry without thinking about it. There is no second number 11.
