The BNo1 Mini is what happens when the maker decides the original is close to perfect but wants something smaller to carry. NGMCo. spent real time getting the dimensions right on this one before releasing it, dialing in personal preferences until it was exactly what they wanted. The result is a 0.45" cube that fits a two-strand overhand knot of 275# paracord in the through hole, keeping it functional at the smaller size.

The material is Amber Ultem Duratron U1000, a high-performance thermoplastic sourced from Japan and machined to a blasted rootbeer finish by NGMCo. in Southport, North Carolina. The amber tone of the Ultem against the blasted finish gives the Mini a warm, dimensional appearance that photographs well and looks even better in person.

Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The Rootbeer finish on Amber Ultem is one of those combinations that is hard to describe until you see it in person. Ultem has a natural warmth to it and the blasted finish deepens the amber color. The Mini fits where the original BNo1 is slightly too large. North Carolina machined from Japanese-sourced material.
