Ultralight Without Giving Anything Up

Most travel duffles this size are heavy before you put anything in them. The Supernova in X-Pac VX21 weighs 1.3 pounds with the backpack straps attached, which leaves more of your weight allowance for the gear you actually want to bring. The X-Pac body holds its shape even when the bag is empty, so packing and finding things is easier than in a duffle that folds flat.

Built for Travel

The 40 liter size fits most overhead compartments while using the space well. A YKK AquaGuard zipper keeps rain and snow out of the main compartment. Two external zip pockets hold a phone, a wallet, or a passport where you can reach them. Dual grab handles on each end let you pull it out of an overhead bin or a packed cargo area, and the removable backpack straps take over when the walk gets long.

Where the Wear Happens

The bottom panel is 1000D Cordura, which is the part of a duffle that takes abuse from concrete, gravel, and truck beds. Reinforcing there rather than everywhere is how the bag stays light and still lasts.
