Ten is not a limited edition in the marketing sense. Ten is the number of these objects that exist anywhere in the world.
Two Tone, Not a Coating Job
A two tone blade with satin flats means the DLC goes on and then the flats are taken back to bare satin steel. It is an extra operation after the coating, done to a tolerance where the line between the two has to be clean the whole length of the blade.
Get it wrong and the knife is scrap. That is part of why the run is ten.
Blasted and Tumbled Steel
The handles are 17-4 steel rather than aluminum, blasted for texture and then tumbled to knock the sharpness off it. Steel handles put real weight in the hand, which on a Brend design is the point.
An Automatic
Push button automatics are restricted in a number of states and cities. Worth checking your state and local law before you order.
About Pro-Tech Knives
