Copper Rose Over Green

Copper Rose is a PVD finish, meaning the color is deposited onto the steel in a vacuum chamber as a hard ceramic layer rather than plated or painted on. It wears like a coating should and it reads as a warm pink copper rather than a flat metallic.

Running it against a green handle is the whole reason this one looks the way it does. Green and copper sit opposite each other, and carrying that across the hardware and clip as well means the color is not just on the blade.

Tread Texturing

The tread pattern is cut into the aluminum, so the grip comes from the shape of the handle rather than from anything bonded to it. It cannot peel, wear smooth, or come loose.

The Malibu

The Malibu is Pro-Tech's button lock flipper and the model that proved they could build a manual as well as they build autos. The detent is set so it flips hard, and the button drops the lock with one finger.
