Antique PVD

PVD is a coating process, and antique is the finish they pull out of it. Instead of a flat even black or grey it comes out mottled and worn looking, closer to aged steel than to a fresh coating.

Pro-Tech matched the hardware to it on this one, which is the part most makers skip. Bright screws against an aged blade would undo the whole effect.
