The Scapegoat Compact is Pro-Tech's second collaboration with Ramon Chaves of Chaves Knives, a scaled down take on the Scapegoat. This one runs a carbide textured blue aluminum handle with a stonewash CPM-MagnaMax clip point blade, blasted hardware, and a blasted deep carry clip.

Note from Lone Star Knife and Supply: This is a true compact auto, small enough for low profile carry but with the same hard Pro-Tech firing action. The stonewash blade keeps wear from showing.

When two knife companies/makers come together and create something, you know it’s going to be something spectacular. Well Chaves Knives and Pro-Tech came out with the Scapegoat, a one of a kind automatic. The design is simple but sleek, the unique materials they chose for the blade steel and texture on the handle is unique. I really like the blade shape, they went with a type of clip point and they went with MagnaMax for the blade steel. Looks aggressive and came sharp right out of the box. Now the handle, I went with the blue for the color. I think it pairs very well with the Stonewash blade, hardware and deep carry pocket clip. My favorite part of the handle has to be the carbide aluminum, the texture looks abrasive but it’s feels fantastic and well secure. It’s compact but fits perfect when I hold it, I really admire the intergral finger type of guard. Prevents you from sliding your fingers towards the blade. The deployment on this piece is so fast and works so elegantly, I love this knife. Beyond satisfied with my purchase
