Pro-Tech Tactical Response 4 Auto, 4" DLC 154CM Saber Grind, Brown Handle, Glass Breaker, CCKS Fall 2026 - Made in USA (CCKSF26.TR4.1)
Couldn't load pickup availability
Four inches of saber ground 154CM, a secondary safety, and a glass breaker. The biggest Tactical Response.
The TR-4 is the largest knife in Pro-Tech's Tactical Response line. This is the California Custom Knife Show build, a 4 inch DLC black 154CM saber grind on a brown handle, with a steel secondary safety and a glass breaker.
Note from Lone Star Knife and Supply: The TR-4 is the one people buy when the TR-3 is not enough knife, and the secondary safety makes it the Pro-Tech auto we are most comfortable recommending to someone carrying it daily.

The Secondary Safety
An automatic that lives in a pocket can be bumped. The TR-4 has a steel secondary safety that physically blocks the button, so the knife does not fire because you sat down wrong.
That is not a feature every Pro-Tech has, and on a four inch blade it is the one that matters.
1 of 30
Pro-Tech made thirty of these for the California Custom Knife Show and serialized every one. Thirty is a small number even by show standards.
The Saber Grind
A saber grind starts the bevel partway up the blade instead of at the spine, which leaves more steel behind the edge. On a four inch blade meant for hard use that is the trade you want, and it is why this is ground differently than the slicier knives in the lineup.
An Automatic
Push button automatics are restricted in a number of states and cities. Worth checking your state and local law before you order.
About Pro-Tech Knives
Pro-Tech builds its knives in Placentia, California. Automatics are what they are known for, and the action on a Pro-Tech button is most of the reason these cost what they do.
