Why the Manual Matters

The TR-3 is one of the knives Pro-Tech is known for and it is an automatic, which rules it out for a lot of people. The Integrity is the same knife opened by hand.

Double thumbstuds mean it works from either side, and it travels places an automatic should not.

Pro-Tech made eighty of these for the California Custom Knife Show and serialized every one. When the eighty are gone there is not a second run.

Denim PVD

Denim is a blue toned PVD rather than a coating that sits on top of the steel. It goes on thin and hard, so it does not change the geometry of the edge and it does not flake the way a thicker finish can.

Against a black topographic handle it reads almost black until the light moves, and then it does not.
