The Synapse started life as Joseph Vero's titanium flipper. This is the Pro-Tech built automatic version, now in its second generation and blacked out. Vero brought the minimalist design and the signature blade groove, and Pro-Tech added the push button auto action it is known for.

The 3.5 inch blade is CPM-MagnaMax in a black DLC finish. MagnaMax is one of Crucible's newer steels, built to push edge retention higher while keeping the corrosion resistance you want in a carry knife. The handle is black herringbone textured aluminum with blasted hardware, and it rides on Vero's machined titanium deep carry clip in a matching black DLC.

At 8.2 inches open and light for its size, the Synapse 2 carries like a smaller knife. It suits someone who wants a clean, understated auto that still runs a modern steel and a fast, hard firing action. The all-black treatment keeps it low key.
