What Tritium Means
Tritium glows by itself. There is no charging it under a lamp and no fading out an hour after you walk into the dark, which is how glow in the dark paint works. A tritium vial puts out low steady light for years.
On the Synapse that means you can find the button in a dark room without looking for it.
Sterile and MagnaMax
Sterile means no markings on the blade. No logo, no steel stamp, nothing.
MagnaMax is Crucible's newer steel alongside MagnaCut, built for higher hardness and more edge retention. It is a different trade than MagnaCut makes, and it is uncommon on a production automatic.
30 Produced
Pro-Tech made thirty of these for the California Custom Knife Show. It is the shortest run of the Vero pieces from that table.
An Automatic
Push button automatics are restricted in a number of states and cities. Worth checking your state and local law before you order.
About Pro-Tech Knives
Pro-Tech builds its knives in Placentia, California. Automatics are what they are known for, and the action on a Pro-Tech button is most of the reason these cost what they do.
