The utility knife, taken seriously.
The Rivery MFG Zero-G is what happens when a CNC engineer in East Tennessee looks at a standard utility knife and asks why it can't be better. The Zero-G takes the replaceable blade format that contractors and tradespeople have carried for generations and rebuilds it from scratch in 6061 aluminum with a screwless body, a spring-assisted slide mechanism, and a tactile action that is genuinely hard to put down.
Slide the show-side scale forward to deploy the blade. Release, and dual internal magnets and a spring mechanism snap it back with a satisfying click and clack that turns a utility knife into something you reach for by habit. Every Zero-G is machined without a single screw in the chassis. What holds it together is geometry and precision, not fasteners. The Original Pattern is the clean version: flat, smooth aluminum in a satin anodized finish that lets the machining quality speak for itself. Available in multiple colors — select yours above.
A machined lanyard hole and a new Flush Pivot Pocket Clip keep carry options flexible. Standard utility blades, the kind you can pick up anywhere, go in and out in seconds.
Designed by Michael Sayers. Assembled in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The Zero-G is the carry piece for people who work with their hands and want tools that reflect that. A CNC-machined American utility knife with no screws and a spring action that makes blade changes almost satisfying is not something you find at the hardware store. This is the version of a tool you already carry, built the way it should have been from the start.
