The Zero-G is what happens when a CNC engineer in East Tennessee looks at a standard utility knife and asks why it cannot be better. Michael Sayers rebuilt the replaceable blade format from scratch in 6061 aluminum with a screwless body, a spring assisted slide, and dual internal magnets. Smooth Operator strips the texture off entirely and reduces the knife to an elegant silhouette.

How it works
Slide the show side scale forward to deploy the blade. Release it and dual internal magnets and a spring snap it back with a click and clack that turns a utility knife into something you reach for out of habit. There is not a single screw in the chassis. What holds it together is geometry and precision.
Smooth Operator versus Original
Original leaves the machining visible. Smooth Operator takes even that away. No milling, no knurling, nothing for a pocket to catch on, which makes it the one to pick if you want the action without the knife announcing itself.
The Flush Pivot clip
The Zero-G introduced a new Flush Pivot pocket clip that sits lower than the older design, so it rides flatter and catches less on a pocket seam. A machined lanyard hole gives you the other carry option.
Blades it takes
The Zero-G uses common trapezoid utility blades. Rivery lists Workpro SK5 at 61mm, Dewalt Carbide Edge, Rapid Edge Serrated, Milwaukee, Titan, Berkling SK2h Black, Jet SK5 Titanium Coated, Stanley 11-800L, and selected generic SK5 blades. Fiskars and ceramic blades are not compatible.
