The only place in the world you can buy a brass Zero under MSRP.

Rivery does not discount. A solid brass Zero V2 in the Grenade pattern is $125 everywhere it is sold, including from Rivery themselves. These are factory seconds, and they are $95.

Why These Are Seconds

Rivery's quality control is stricter than the knife needs it to be, and that is the reason these exist. A stray milling mark, the kind that shows up as an extremely fine line you have to hunt for, is enough to keep a Zero from shipping as a first. The reasons vary from piece to piece, but they all come down to the same thing. It did not pass Rivery's bar.

Nothing here affects how the knife works. The action, the blade holder, the slide, and the fit are the same as any other V2. What you are buying is a cosmetic standard you would likely never have noticed, sold at thirty dollars off.

Each one is marked as a second so there is never any question about which you have.

Full Warranty, No Exceptions

These carry Rivery MFG's complete warranty, identical to a first. Being a second changes the price and nothing else. If something goes wrong with it, Michael stands behind it the same as any Zero that ever left his shop.

Solid Brass

Brass is the reason to pick this over the aluminum Zeros. It is heavier in the pocket, which changes how the slide feels, and it patinas with handling rather than staying the same. A brass Zero carried for a year looks nothing like one out of the box, and that is the whole appeal. If you like a tool that shows the time you have put into it, this is the material to take.

The Grenade Pattern

Grenade is the deep milled pattern, cut into the body so it grips through gloves or wet hands. On brass it catches light in the recesses and darkens there first as the patina sets in.

About the Back Door

The Back Door is where returns, blems, one-offs, demos, factory seconds, and trade ins go. Everything in it is priced below the regular listing and described plainly, so you know exactly what you are getting and why it is here.

Made in Tennessee

Every Zero is machined and assembled in East Tennessee. A small American shop reworking a tool most people overlook, done with real precision, is exactly what we like carrying. The precision is also why these are seconds.

Why This One Stands Out

If brass is the Zero you have wanted and the price has been the thing stopping you, this is the only way anyone is getting one for less.
