Compact, purpose-built, and backed by years of refinement. The 2026 Skur is the latest version of the knife that has held the top one and two spots in the Shed Knives lineup every year since 2020. It didn't start as a planned design. In 2020, Jack Billings was grinding a US Tanto profile and removed too much steel from the finger groove. What he accidentally created became the best-selling knife in the company's history. For 2026, every element has been tightened: the grind quality, the G-10 scales, the machining tolerances, and the Kydex sheath. The result is a compact fixed blade that punches well above its size and price.

The 3.168" 154CM blade is flat-saber ground and stonewashed. G-10 scales are CNC-milled with 3D contouring, removable with a 3/32" Allen wrench. A CNC-milled Kydex sheath clicks the knife in securely. Built in Delaware from 100% USA materials.

154CM Steel

154CM has been a go-to blade steel for serious knife makers since the custom market adopted it decades ago. It holds an edge well, resists corrosion in wet environments, and is forgiving to sharpen in the field. Shed Knives heat-treats it in-house to 58 HRC.

Supporting American Manufacturing

Every stage of the Skur happens in Delaware. Shed Knives sources all materials through American vendors and has maintained that since day one. If you want to support a small American knife company that actually controls its production, this is one of them.

About Shed Knives

Shed Knives started in 2018 as three friends making blades on Saturday mornings out of a forge built from a bucket, river clay, and a hair dryer. Jack Billings is now the CEO and founder, running the company out of Delaware with a team that mills, heat treats, assembles, and sheaths every knife in-house. 100% USA materials, 100% USA production. No exceptions.
