This is the Templar edition of the Spartan Harsey Folder with a Chad Nichols damascus blade, built on the award winning full titanium SHF platform designed with William Harsey Jr. It sits in a 6AL-4V titanium frame lock body with dual thumb stud deployment. Chad Nichols Damascus

Chad Nichols is one of the best known damascus makers in the country, and a Chad Nichols blade is the upgrade people seek out by name. Damascus is layered steel folded and patterned so the layers show through when the blade is etched. Every blade comes out different, so the pattern on this one belongs to this knife alone. It is the reason this Templar costs a hundred dollars more than the stonewash version.

The Templar

Spartan's themed editions take an idea and build the whole knife around it, and the Templar draws on the Knights Templar. A damascus blade suits the theme better than any modern finish could.

The SHF

Everything but the blade, pivot, and stop pin is machined titanium. It deploys on dual thumb studs over phosphor bronze bushings, and the action breaks in and gets better with use rather than loosening up.
