Sports Car Inspired Design from Sal Glesser

Designed by Spyderco co founder Sal Glesser, the Edgerati pulls inspiration from high performance sports cars, specifically the “birdcage” Maserati frame. The result is a striking, geometric handle that is machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum, then hardcoat anodized for strength, low weight, and a non slip texture. The open, pierced design also gives you a clear view of the knife’s streamlined Compression Lock mechanism.

The 3.57 inch CPM S30V blade features a straight spine and full flat grind for efficient slicing. A textured index finger choil allows a forward grip for added control, and Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole supports quick, positive deployment with either hand. The clip is reversible for left or right side tip up carry. The Edgerati is offered in multiple factory configurations, including satin or all black DLC, and either PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge, depending on the variant selected.
