The Case for Aluminum

Titanium and bronze are the materials people talk about, and aluminum is the one they end up carrying hardest. It weighs almost nothing, the anodizing holds color rather than wearing to bare metal, and it costs little enough that you stop worrying about where you set it down.

The mechanism is not a cheaper version. It is the same bolt that goes into the titanium pens.

Why Short

Half an inch does not sound like much until the pen is in a pocket rather than on a desk. The short body clears the top of a front pocket and rides better in a notebook loop. Writing feel does not change between lengths.
