Bronze Changes Over Time

Titanium looks the same in five years as it does today. Bronze does not. It darkens where you handle it and stays bright where you do not, so the pen ends up carrying a record of how you hold it.

If you want it back to new, a few minutes with a polish returns it. Most people stop doing that after the first year.

Bronze Has Weight

This is the heaviest material Tactile Turn offers besides copper. A bronze pen sits in the hand rather than on it, which some people want in a pen and some people do not.

If you carry a pen clipped in a shirt pocket all day, titanium is the better call. If the pen lives on a desk and gets picked up, bronze is the one that feels like something.

Made in Texas

Tactile Turn machines everything in Dallas, Texas. Will Hodges started the company turning pens on a lathe and it has stayed a machining operation rather than a brand that outsources.
