The Bolt Action

The bolt throws across the top of the pen and locks the refill out, which is the most satisfying way anyone has found to deploy a ballpoint. It is also the reason these end up on desks being worked back and forth by people who are supposed to be doing something else.

Short or Standard

Standard is the full size pen. Short is the one that rides in a pocket organizer or a shirt pocket without sticking out. Both take the same refills and both run the same bolt.
