Copper Will Not Stay Bright

This bead arrives the color of a new penny and does not stay that way. Copper darkens as it is handled, and on a bead that gets touched every time you draw a knife, it darkens fast.

That is the reason to buy it. A copper bead a year old looks nothing like a new one, and no two end up the same because no two get handled the same.

What a Bead Is Actually For

A lanyard turns a pocket knife into something you can pull out without digging, and the bead is what your fingers find first. On a flashlight it gives you a way to hang it. On a zipper it keeps a cold or gloved hand working.
