This is an Alan Blade Knives PUC, a small fixed blade with roughly a 2.75 inch high carbon blade. It sold for $155 new. No sheath and no box came with it.
Condition, stated plainly. There is visible corrosion on this knife, and it has seen use. High carbon steel corrodes when it is stored without oil, and this one has been. It is not pitted through and it is not structurally compromised, but it will never look new again and you should not expect it to. No drop damage.
High carbon steel is a tradeoff people make on purpose. It takes a keener edge than stainless and it comes back on a stone with almost no effort. What it asks in return is that you keep it dry and oiled, which is the part that did not happen here.
This is a small maker piece that does not turn up often, and the price reflects the condition rather than the rarity.
