The AFO II is off Benchmade's catalog now, which is the main reason to pay attention. It was built as a duty automatic, not a gentleman's knife, and it weighs 5.8 ounces because of it. Thick aluminum handles, a button lock with an integrated safety, and a blade that fires hard.

154CM is the steel Benchmade built its reputation on before the powder metallurgy era. It sharpens easily, holds a working edge, and does not chip when you put it through something it should not be going through. On a knife meant for actual work that is the right pick.
