This is the SHOT Show 2025 Limited Edition Mini Freek, amethyst Cerakote over CPM-M4 with transparent amber Ultem scales. Look the photos over before you buy.

Benchmade does one of these for SHOT Show every year and then never makes it again. This was the 2025 run and it is gone from every dealer that had it. The standard 565 Mini Freek ships in S30V with a satin blade and Grivory handles. This one swaps all three.

CPM-M4 is a carbon tool steel, not stainless. It holds an edge far longer than S30V and takes real abuse without chipping. It will also patina and it will rust if you leave it wet, which is the trade you make for the performance. The amethyst Cerakote is both the look and the corrosion protection.

Ultem 1000 is the other reason people chased this one. It is a high temperature engineering polymer, transparent amber, machine textured, and almost nobody uses it on a production knife. It looks like nothing else in a pocket.
