The Back Door: Core Edge USA 0331 Pulsar OTF Auto - Blue Aluminum, Double Edge Tanto, MagnaCut - Made in USA (Trade In)

The Back Door entry. Never carried, never cut with. Opened and closed a handful of times and otherwise kept in a display case. No fall damage. Has the box.

This is a Core Edge USA 0331 Pulsar OTF in blue with a double edge tanto blade. Look the photos over before you buy.

The Pulsar is Core Edge's out the front automatic, and the double edge tanto in blue is not a configuration that shows up often. We stock the Pulsar in black, natural, and light garnet, all single edge drop points. This one is neither of those, which is the reason it is worth paying attention to.

A double edge tanto on an OTF is a different animal from a drop point. The tanto geometry puts a lot of steel behind the tip, and the second edge makes it a dagger profile rather than a utility blade. Worth knowing before you buy: double edged blades are restricted in some states and cities, so check your local law the way you would with any dagger.

MagnaCut in an OTF is the right call. Automatics live in pockets and get carried in weather, and MagnaCut does not care. It holds a working edge and resists corrosion better than the steels that used to be standard in this category.

This one never went into a pocket. The previous owner kept it in a display case and cycled the action a few times. It is used only in the sense that it is not factory sealed.
