Back Door Entry. Blem. We dropped this one ourselves while reorganizing the shop.

Condition, stated plainly. There is a cosmetic mark on the show side top corner of the handle, up near the pivot, and a slight scrape in the blade coating toward the tip. That is the whole of it. This knife was never sold, never carried, and never returned by anybody. It went on the floor in our shop and it is priced 30% under the regular listing because of it.

Everything mechanical is untouched. The lockup, the action, and the edge are exactly as they left Half Face Blades. Ask for photos of both marks before you buy and we will send them.

An Integral Frame at This Price

The handle is machined from one piece of 7075-T6 aluminum rather than assembled from slabs and liners. There is no seam to loosen and nothing to come apart, and it is why a 3.2 inch folder this rigid still comes in at 3.6 ounces. Integral construction is normally a custom shop feature, and Half Face put it on a production knife.

The Kwaiken, With Backbone

The kwaiken profile is usually treated as the elegant one, thin and refined and a little delicate. Half Face kept the lines and built it like a working knife instead. It carries clean and it locks up like something twice its weight.

S45VN

S45VN is the updated S35VN, with more chromium for better corrosion resistance and a finer grain structure that holds an edge longer. At 58 to 60 HRC it sharpens without a fight, which on a knife you actually carry is the right place to run it.
