Back Door Entry. Hinderer, Barely Touched.
This is a Rick Hinderer Project X in black G10 with a 3.66 inch stonewashed CPM-S45VN clip point, working finish titanium lock side, and the Tri-Way pivot. It came in used but like new, and it shows it.
The Tri-Way is the part that separates a Hinderer from the rest of the frame lock world. You can swap the pivot system between caged bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or Teflon, depending on whether you want the action fast, smooth, or dead quiet. Most knives make that choice for you. This one lets you change your mind.
S45VN is the stainless people ask for when they want edge retention without babysitting the blade for rust, and at 6.3 ounces this is a knife with real material in it. The frame lock and the titanium lock side are built the way Hinderer builds everything, which is to say heavier than it needs to be on purpose.
This is a buy it once knife. It carries right hand tip up, it opens the same way on the ten thousandth time as the first, and it is the kind of thing people hand down rather than trade off. Getting one like new through The Back Door instead of chasing a drop is the whole point of this section.
