This is a McNees PM MAC 2 3.5 in the Swerve pattern with an atomic stonewash finish on contoured titanium. It carries the F stamp, which means a flat grind on the blade rather than the hollow grind these usually ship with. See the photos for the handle color and finish before you buy.

The PM stands for Performance Machined, and the MAC 2 is the knife that made that line what it is. Jonathan McNees built the PM series to put an American made knife at a price that was not absurd, and much of the fit, lock tuning, and sharpening still happens in his Alabama shop. The Gen 2 brought threaded standoffs, a milled clip recess, Delrin caged ceramic bearings, and US made hardware throughout.

The flat grind is the part worth paying attention to. Most MAC 2s are hollow ground, which is great for slicing, but a flat grind on 3.5 inches of MagnaCut gives you more meat behind the edge and a blade that handles lateral load better. If you use a knife rather than admire it, the F stamp is the one you want.

MagnaCut at 63 to 64 HRC is about as good as a production stainless gets right now. It holds an edge like a high carbide steel and does not rust like one.
