The Ring
The Ringed Agent gets its name from the finger ring at the base of the handle. That ring does two things. It indexes your hand so you know where the knife is without looking, and it means the knife is not leaving your grip whether your hands are wet, cold, or gloved. On a fixed blade meant to be used under pressure, that is the whole design argument.
S90V
S90V is a high vanadium stainless built around wear resistance. It holds an edge a long time and it asks for more patience at the sharpening stone in exchange. On a 4 inch fixed blade that gets used rather than carried for show, the tradeoff is the right way round.
