This is an Old Dominion Knifeworks Custom Gent front flipper, roughly a 3 inch blade in figured carbon fiber with a bronze weave.
Two things make this one uncommon. The first is the front flipper, which puts the tab on the front of the handle rather than the spine. You open it with your thumb pushing forward instead of your index finger pulling back, and it means there is no flipper tab sticking out of the closed knife. It is a harder mechanism to build well and a rarer knife to carry.
The second is the handle. Bronze weave carbon fiber is not the flat black panel most people picture when they hear carbon fiber. The bronze runs through the weave and changes as you turn it in the light.
Old Dominion works mostly in high end customs, and this is one of those rather than a production piece. Finding these available at all, new or used, takes patience.
