The Zero is Rivery MFG's utility knife, machined in East Tennessee, and it is the one people pick up and cycle twenty times before they put it down. This one pairs the Frag pattern body with Nebula anodizing, and no two Nebula finishes come out the same. Look the photos over before you buy.

Why People Get Hooked on the Zero

It is a utility knife, so on paper it should be boring. The reason it is not is the action. A weighted internal key and firm spring tension give it a deliberate click going out and a clack coming back, and that is the whole appeal. It is the only tool in the drawer that people fidget with on purpose.

The Nebula Finish

Nebula is anodizing, not paint. The color lives in the oxide layer on the aluminum, so it will not chip off, and because it is done in small batches the layering comes out differently every time. Hold two side by side and they will not match. That is the point of it.

Replaceable Blades Are the Feature

A utility knife never needs sharpening because you never sharpen it. When the edge goes, the blade comes out and a new one goes in for pocket change. For breaking down boxes, opening packaging, and cutting things you would never put a MagnaCut edge near, it is the right tool and it saves your good knife.
