This is a Spyderco Para Military 2 in the SMKW Lava Flow Fat Carbon exclusive, CPM-M4 blade. New was $362.

Condition, stated plainly. This knife has fall damage. That is the reason it is priced well under what a clean Lava Flow sells for. The knife functions and the Fat Carbon is intact, but it has been dropped and it shows. Ask for photos of the damage before you buy and we will send them.

Lava Flow Fat Carbon

Fat Carbon is carbon fiber with color run through the weave, and Lava Flow is the orange and red pattern. Every set of scales comes out different because the pattern is in the material rather than applied to it. This was a Smoky Mountain Knife Works exclusive, so it is a finite run.

CPM-M4

M4 is a tool steel, not a stainless. It holds an edge far longer than most steels people carry and it comes back sharp on a stone. What it asks in return is that you keep it dry and oiled, because it will patina and it will rust if you neglect it. People who carry M4 do it on purpose.
